Er besteht aus Turbine, Getriebe, Generator und Peripherie (Ölkühler und Steuerschrank).
Bei der Turbine handelt es sich um eine Sattdampf-Turbine, die zuletzt aber auch mit Heißdampf (19,3 bar, 300 °C) beschickt wurde. Der Generator hat eine maximale Wirkleistung von 650 kW.
